1989 Toyota truck repair question car not going to overdrive?
I have Toyota truck (pick up) and can't figure out why it doesn't go to overdrive. I recently replaced solenoid and there is power going to it. What else it could couse the ca not going to overdrive?

Is it completelt up to normal operating temperature? The ecm locks out od until fully warm, if you are running cold or without a thermostat it may never make it.


Have you seen our handy toyota faq? Only it can answer all of your vaugue questions....


Oh, your tranny could be fucked as well, that can cause no od.
