I still don't think you have a clue if you have a specific question, ask it, otherwise auctully do a search. There are 100s of pics, & dozens of threads with pics on flatbeds.

Finishing it up this weekend.. Why does it always take 2x longer than estimated?

Mainly made out of 1.5 x 1.5 TS 11ga.
14 ga diamoundplate (steel)
Est weight 250lbs

First coat of paint - simple can of rustoleum.
Then sprayed with 3M rocker panel spray (very hard texture @ $15/can)
Final paint house of color gloss black.

All Pro Offroad Flat Bed Kit / Extreme Lift Kit

ive seen some pictures of rigs with the All Pro Flat Bed Kit,

what does it take (tools, etc) to put it together?
is it worth it? / how do you like it?
what exactly is involved in putting it together?
does this kit work on an extd cab? ive only seen it on standard cabs.

it says no instructions so i would like to see what i am getting myself into before i get it

similarly looking to pick up the extreme lift kit by all pro

85 toyota standard cab

I wanna see some pictures of peoples flat beds.

I got a buddy who has an extended cab (bobed it of course) and turned it into his own flat bed without a bought kit.

But id like to see some custom flat bed kits either then just the All Pro Offroad one.

I cheated and bent all my own tubing to their design.
Mostly because I got the tubing free at the time and liked the key points of strength they put into the design.

It also provides good protection from rock out croppings or rollovers such as I've experianced with it. The fenders provide some protection from mud and water holes too.

Putting it together from a kit? well this depends on your level of fabrcation skills. The kit will have to be notched and your biggest challange will be to make sure both fenders are level and at the same height with each other.
They used to have nice photos on their web site showing the frame work and this is what I used for mine but I think those are gone now.

good luck
