Ridgecrest Benders--- HAMMERS
Wellll, upon further reflection and thought, it looks like the Ridgecrest Benders are giveing thought to doing the Hammers over Memorial Day weekend rather than the Con. We fugure the Con, as beutiful as it is, would be covered with people. The Hammers even when over populated, still has runnin room !!!!
Haven't talked to more than Ryan, Jerry, and Krusty, YET!-- still in the thinking stages----

I'll give it a try. We were playing phone tag earlier this week, so I know the messages are getting through. The only problem that might come up is if the yokes are at his old house. He might have a little trouble getting them from there!

Hey, I was just looking at this 60 I have laying in the yard. There's a yoke on it, but I'm not sure what size it is. I'll figure it out tomorrow, and let you know. If it's right, it's yours!

Sweet!
I've got the yoke it came with (3130 conversion Joint, big side?) and I've got an extra from Ryan but it's like twice the size of a 1350 and it'd require another conversion joint. 3rd times the charm!

Get on I-15 north and go to the town of Hesperia at the top of the Cajon summit. Exit onto Bear Valley Rd and take it east. Follow til it intersects HI-18 and make the right turn onto HI-18. Follow HI-18 to Lucerne Valley. In Lucerne Valley HI-247 intersects with HI-18. Go straight, which puts you onto HI-247. You are now heading toward Yucca Valley. Follow HI-247 for appx. 26 miles to a dirt road on your left. It's called Boone Rd. Take Boone Rd. to Means Dry Lakebed. That's the base camp. |
