I just got a E-mail from the ranger saying that the club that opened the trail got done last night. So it is open. They had a few problems 2 punchered tires, 1 broke axle, body damage from tree bashing, radiator damage. He said the trail is rough.

If I can get my rear gear situation taken care of, I might run up and hit Bald real quick. I'm testing out my new suspension on my new ('83 Toy) truck. Hoping to get some trail time on it pretty soon but it all hinges on what I hear tomorrow.

we hit bald on fri, was a lotta fun. nothing too hard...ya know they block all the good stuff off unless its a poker run or somthin like that, but the views from up there were awsome, and the fireworks over shaver on sat. were just as good.

So that was who left the fire at the tower.
I ran up there today and did a quickie. I had to test out the new suspension. Did Hollywood, V-rock, Shale rock hill, and misc. gaps and short climbs. Didn't trust the carb on Carb Hill and didn't have the ARB hooked up so I stayed off Posi. Nice to get out of the valley though and ya gotta love the view. No one was there today, All I ran across was 4 quads and 2 dirtbikes.
