bear valley loop trail
i am going to be up by lake alpine and i have heard about it and want to check it out any directions would be cool

The Bear Valley Loop Trail is not near Bear Valley on Hwy 4.
The Bear Valley Loop Trail is off of Hwy 89 north of Truckee half way to Sierraville. It is approx an 18 mile loop and well marked. The trail is adopted by the Diablo club out of Concord. They host the annual Run-A-Muck run in July. This trail is also the SUV/Long Wheel Base trail for Sierra Trek.
