Been planning for a FSJ trail run next weekend Aug 23-24 on the Blue Lakes/Deer Valley/Hermit Valley.

It's my 11th year annual run with my 1970 J-3000 Gladiator P/U on the Deer Valley trail. From north off Hwy 88 to south on Hwy 4.

C/B channel #3 will be used for convoy and Trail communication.

This will be a CA_FSJA event or the California Full-Size-Jeep Association trail run, any FSJ is invited to participate.

Meeting place starts at the Rio Vista McDonalds on Hwy 12 at 0700-0730.
Next stop will be at the McDonalds restaurant on Hwy 12 and Hwy 99 in Lodi.
Next stop will be in Pine Grove for Gas station fill ups on Hwy 88.
Next stop at the Amador Ranger Station for campfire permits and maps.
Final Gas stop at Kirkwood Ski area on Hwy 88.

Turnoff onto the Red Lake entrance east side of Carson Pass for airing down, etc.

Might be crowded that weekend. I believe that the Tahoe Hi Lo's are having their poker run.

Hi,
I just verified from a representative from the Hi-Lo's and they just had there Poker run last weekend with 80+ rigs on the Deer Valley trail and had a good run!

So it should be fine this weekend!
