Trying to get another trail in before the season winds down. I'd like to make it to Thompson Lake friday night, Ershim or Lake Camp sat. night and home sunday. Two guys are going with me, but there is room for more. Post up if interested.

Dirt Mover is this trip for the weekend cuz the 3-5 is during the weekday? me and a buddy were planning on going up the weekend of the 8th but it depends on if he get's back from TN in time.

Todd is snow to be expected?

I don't know, just seems to be getting close for Dusy. It's over 10K at the top.

Watch the weather reports, snow can happen at any time on that trail since most of the trail is almost 9k feet.

Are you guys driving up or trailering? I am looking for a good place to park the trailers while on the trail.

going up with opus and his group anybody have a good trail map? I parked my trailer on the side of the road last year, but there is 4 or 5 of us trailering down so prolly parking at the top right at the trail head

hope to see some of you there and praying for no snow, did that trip last year in a buggy way too cold and wet

I think a couple of us are going in the 8 from the top side if it doesn't snow. We go in to clean up the camp for the end of th season. Sounds like a party and good times hope to get off work to make it. P.S it gets real cold at night.

Yeah there was this one tree limb sticking out that Rob snagged and put a little dent in the driver quarter, oh and there was also those sheared steering arm studs and fragged trunion bearing too. Yet he can't just break one of those stock birfs just to make us happy.

expect snow, we ran it last sun (9-25) and had to come out monday as there was supposidly 14" of snow that fell.
here is 2 pics from early in the day when it started.

it was nearing high 20 degree weather....COLD. just a heads up, be prepaired for anything, this time of year! other than that the trail was great!

Dad put the top on the Jeep weeks ago and he's buying a new sleeping bag for this trip.
