Rngr, there is a group going to Eagle Lakes this Sunday. (off I80) Lot closer than moonrocks, To get to Moon rocks take 80 into Reno/Sparks, get off at exit 19 (Hyw 445) to Pyramid Lake, head East approx 27 miles to Winnemuca Ranch Road, (look for the
Glider Rides" sign) turn left, to the end of the pavement, take a left and your there.
The group going into Eagle Lakes are taking jeeps, toyotas and sami's. They are meeting at the "5 miles house" (old resturant outside of Nevada City on hyw 20) or meet them at the trailhead (Eagle Lake turn off I80) at about 8:30 am Sunday. Look for a bright yellow CJ, thats Kevin.

Eagle Lakes

Sounds like fun. I might just be there. I am still new at this. My sami has 3" lifted springs and 235/75/15 tires. Think I can make it?
