Thanks Evans for the push up. Lowtorious, thanks for signing up.
Sean-- you have your yota rear steer working yet? You should be able to tackle challenge rock again with better results this time. Gavin may have his junk together by then too-- his rig is looking sick. We have another ridge line with extrememe lines for you to try next time you are up. I still have to blow some more trees out, but I may do that new years day. |

Due to our insurance and zoning regulations, everyone must be members of Rausch Creek to wheel. It is $10 a year, good for 365 days from when you pay (and anyone over 16 must join). It is $25 a day to wheel. For riders, the day they pay their membership, they pay no more that day. So, if just you and the rig, $35 the first day, $25 every day after that. If you and a rider, $45 day one, $30 every day after that.
Let me know if you have any questions! |

Mark,
The rear steer's getting close. Just a couple more weeks of work. As long as everything's together this can be the shakedown run . I'm looking forward to seeing that new stuff.

CJ-- Once you have membership, it is $25 to wheel. Guided ride or not, the costs are all the same for everyone (did you finally use up all the Camp Jeep passes??).
Sean-- Bring your rig up. John Boring and Eugene Rose let me take them through the new stuff, with 6 inches of snow. I didn't let them roll, but there was some pucker...... I still gotta get more trees out of there though. They are just gettin in the way. We are eyeing some other areas up for some special stuff down the road. We have enough stuff to keep people happy for a while yet, it is just dependant upon us gettin the trees out of the way. |

No problem. Just so you know, you will have to pay for both days.... But if you want to camp, that is free. On Saturday, you are on your own for trail selections. On Sunday, you will have to jump in a group.
If you have any questions, let me know. |

Andy- We've got a group of 3 or 4 vehicles heading up from NC on friday. We plan on wheeling Sat and Sun. If nothing better comes along, you are welcome to wheel with us (www.nckrawlers.com), but most of our rigs are just slightly better than stock. (35's and 33's, all lifted, some locked, some not).

Mark, I'm still not clear on the costs for this weekend. I"m sorry if I skipped over something obvious regarding the fees but please tell me the over all cost for this weekend with the following:
Driver - not a RC member Passenger - not a RC member 1 vehicle Wheeling both Saturday and Sunday Camping Friday and Saturday night If I read what you stated above correctly, it will cost my passenger and I $70 total, right!? Also, Jeepin_Jeffster, you guys are still coming up from NC, right? Thanks! Last edited by Lowtorious; 02-05-2004 at 07:51 PM. |

Lowtorious, Hopefully I can clear it up for you, you were close at 07, it will be 75.
Passenger, must pay $10 yearly membership wich includes 1 day wheeling, then $5 for second day making total for passenger $15. Driver must join $10 yearly plus $25 per day for the rig, making the driver/rig combo $60. Hope that clears it all up for you, should be a great weekend with some new terrain, providing Mother nature keeps the snow off the rocks, if not there will still be plenty of fun to be had! |

I'll be up there Sunday, provided the weather is cooperating. Don't feel like doing that drive in the snow again any time soon.

Lowtorious-
We had to bail. One of the guys flipped his CJ and another has his torn down with a motor overhaul. I'm taking the opportunity to have lockers and gears installed in mine to get ready for the Right Coast Run in Tellico, NC next month. Jeff

Let's get some pics up from this weekend. I don't have much to show since group 8 didn't do all that hard trails. I hope the guy in our group in the blue Rubicon got home alright despite his pretzeled tie rod. Damn was it cold though, 17* Sunday morning.
