Clean up - Saturday, January 31, 2004

Meeting Point: WEST SIDE OF I-17 BEYOND THE END OF THE PAVEMENT CB Channel: 4
TABLE MESA EXIT TO AGUA FRIA RIVER CLEANUP!

BRING DRINKS, GLOVES, AND FRIENDS. SHOVELS, RAKES AND SUNBLOCK OPTIONAL.
ORGANIZED BY THE ARIZONA VIRTUAL JEEP CLUB IN COOPERATION WITH THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT (PROVIDING THREE DUMPSTERS), THE ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT (PROVIDING A DUMPSTER AND TRASH BAGS), AND THE LAKE PLEASANT REGIONAL PARK AREA (PROVIDING A TRUCK TO HAUL AWAY TIRES).

It looks 99% sure I'll be there in the wifes truck again Nothing like being caught in a vehicle that has every girly sticker in the world on it. Can't wait till the trail rigs done.

The ARC showed up. We ended up pulling out 3 old cars and a buncha trash. Hopefully they'll post pics when they get back in.

I had to come home early to sell what's left of the old Jeep Chassis.

BTG did our share. We got the camp area looking good and removed about 50 lbs of nails. I was really impressed that all the Game and Fish folks were there. Today made AZ wheelers look pretty good.

nope, that was Coyote's... Wes's is big, yellow, & non-operational @ the moment.

It was cool to see all the game & fish guys out, they had to have at least 10 trucks out there, not to metion the sherriff's department with the chain gang...
