![]() So we had a good time at the Badlands a couple weeks ago and the only thing I broke was my electric fan mounts. The little plastic zip tie things broke and the fan dropped but nothing was broke. I did lose the little ears that slide into the fan so I'll have to pick those up. I Haven't had time to work on the jeep lately between working 6 days a week ten hours a day and doing the family thing. Last weekend we went to St. Louis for My mother in-laws 60th birthday to The Big Bang dueling piano bar. If you have never been it's a Good Time! ![]() Then we headed up to Chicago this weekend for our little boys 3rd birthday and stayed with some friends who live in Downtown Chicago. We went to Ed Debevick's on Sunday before heading home. ![]()

Made it home and went out to my uncles house for the Family Super Bowl party.
I Scored some 33's on aluminum wheels from him for $150 bucks. They are going on the Budget build 96 Jeep Cherokee I just picked up for $600. It even has a Chrysler 8.25 under the Rear. ![]() I have working on my Shop to get power hooked up so I can stop working on extension cords but I need to get busy on my dodge and Jeep because the boxes are piling up. ![]()

Mud Fest is this weekend!
I'm not real big on the mud seen bud I did buy some tractor tires for my jeep so i don't have to dig mud out of my beadlocks any more.
![]() So this weekend is mud fest at Lusters Long Horn Ranch. I'm going to watch mainly and check what little trails the have. Then next weekend is Freddy's Annual Mother's Day bash. It's a local spot. only 50 acres and not worth much of a drive but kool when it's local and always fun to watch the alcoholics trash there rides. And it's FREE weekend of riding and open to anybody but no kids.

Luster's is a cool place, you'll have fun there. I didn't get a chance to scope out their trails, but the trail going back into the mud area was hard enough, should be nice and sloppy this weekend.

cool to check it out but was ready to go by 2 p.m. and probably won't go back. just a bunch of mud in a field. Not my thing but my jeep did own it.
Plus there were so many idiots on fourwheelers and people doing donuts in the parking lot while people standing in the bed!

they measure just shy of 42 and they are on 16.1 tractor rims with welded in centers from a seat of 16" steel wheels. However I have seen these same tires on a set of 16 inch beadlocks.

So I recently decided to sell my car trailer and get me a gooseneck to make a Crawler Hauler. Since I am running full widths on my jeep I wanted a deck over. So here we are.
![]() Then I had to find a camper so I bought this 99 Apache pop up. Of course I bought this one because I could double my money. So I bought it monday and put it on ebay the next night lol. I bought it for 1,000 and I think I have it sold for 2k tomorrow. ![]() So with the 1k I will make off that one I found this one. So basically I will have nothing in it. I wanted one with all the goodies and since size doesn't matter (becuase it's going on a gooseneck). Here we are. ![]() My dad is picking it up for me this weekend so I decided to put on my leveling kit this morning. I mean after all it's been sitting in the garage for like 6 months. lol. ![]() Sits way better now and I put on new shocks while I was at it. ![]() Now I have a lot more to do before We head to Golden Mountain in like 5 days!!!!!!!! Jess is putting on my steering I'll just have to do some tlc and hope everything works as planned! ![]()

you will definitely want bags ;-)
here's a little inspiration for ya ![]() ![]() good luck with the build. very glad we went this route for now and I'm sure you'll be happy as well. would be nice to have a little more room, but it's not very often (twice a year) that we have all 4 of us and the dog on the same trip. if you haven't thought about it yet, be very aware of your weight totals and aim low. it'll add up faster than you might think. I think I'm sitting right at 22k happy fathers day to all as well.

After reading this thread, I'm thinking you guys will fit in pretty well at MJL this year.
Looking forward to meeting you all. Your Dad's XJ looks real similar to my girlfriends! She did this at last year's MJL Run. Not sure if I'll have it mended by this year's run or not...kinda running out of time.

[QUOTE=_Stucky;14607158]When and where is your next trip? I got 1 shitty, blurry picture of you stuck in the mud on Saturday.
Surprising, it's usually pretty easy to catch Nathan stuck............
