Badlands June 20th.
Alright I talked to a few of you and it seems like this date works out for you as far as going down to the badlands. I also got a few guys on pavementsucks.com interested in coming along.
Whose in? And what are your plans? One day? Overnight? Idk what you guys want to run, typically when we go we run a lil bit of the orange, take the green to get to the rock quarry and then wheel in there and follow red trail, and head back through the creek. MIke.

Man, I'd love to go, and the 20th sounds like a good date (so far). I'd be in for a 1-day, not an overnight, if I can get a trailer to haul my heep (U-haul, I guess). I'm a wheeling noob, so take it easy on me if I'm there.

It's a 5-speed 89 Wrangler with a shackle reversal (1-2" of lift from that), 2.5" leaf lift, 2" BL, SYE, locker in the rear, Posi-Lock on the CAD, running on 33x12.5's. It's got a winch too, in case any nasty trouble is encountered. It's also got some rust, but most from that time frame do. What I don't have is a spare, so that makes me a bit nervous.

I want to mess around in purgartory... we didn't even get to the rock quarry last time there due to a breakage
I hate not having a tow rig... I always have the damn thought of "you still have to make it home w/ your truck" in the back of my mind everything I try something new... MIke.

After a successful weekend of wheeling (knock on wood) I've got the itch to go again, meet some new people and possibly start trying some harder shit!
finally have the tow rig and trailer... ![]() ![]() [/B] ![]() But on the other hand... I just recived the Got Propane kit for the yota which will be a god-send from the fuckin webber puttering out. Im not sure I can get it installed and ready for the weekend. ![]() Also just got a full YJ conversion SOA kit to install with some FOX 14" remote res. shocks so I can get my BFG's and beadlocks on my Sammy. Same thing there though, it's gonna take some fab work to get the shock mounts just the way I want them and that could be a whole weekend job... especially with the 12oz curls ![]() ![]() 33x12.50x16 BFG's with Double Beadlocks

I hear ya I would get my ass out there and work all night if I knew I would get it done, but I always run into something! I don't have a full shop, I live in a vynal village with a two car garage
. I've done the Sammy YJ kit twice once from scratch and one of the kits, but the fabbing is the problem. I have custom shock mounts for the front and rear to do and my shop that I normally go to is booked full right now. I've done everything under the sun pertaining to 4 wheeling for the last 12 or 15 years now, but I have never owned a tube bender or plaz so a lot of metal fabbing isn't my thing....at the moment. SO, I got all my hoses, fittings, tank filled.... gonna start on the pane and see if I can conseptually get it done in time or else I will leave it alone and beat the webber to shit again. Either way like the post says Im gonna be at Attica this weekend! BTW, the burb is a 6.2 turned up with Banks sidewider turbo...gets the job done for now... If anyone see's me Holler I look like grizzly adams!

Dude, thanks for the offer, that's awesome. Sorry I wasn't able to go, though. My heep's actually been in the shop last week and this upcoming week, so I couldn't make it. Stupid thing always breaks at the worst times. I was itching to go pretty bad, I'm really aggravated that I couldn't go, so I'll be looking to join y'all on the next run (if she's running, of course).

The trip was definately a sweet. Ryan should have videos up on pavementsucks.com in the next day or two and my pics are up there in the trail review forum.
We should plan something for beginning or end of July again... gonna move my gas tank and hopefully get hydro assist by then but either way I'm game. MIke.
