Indy Jamboree anyone?
Anyone in the area headed to the Indy Jamobree this weekend? I should be there all weekend.
Also, I've been put in charge of the rock crawl at 4 Wheel Parts midnight madness sale. If any of you are bringing wheelers to the jambo, stop by 4WP's saturday night for an awsome rockcrawl and party.

No rockcrawl at the Jamboree. They replaced it with lawnmower racing. So the 4 Wheel Parts crew has stepped up their garden to give people a real "hardcore"(yea I know that sounds funny coming from a "showtruck" company) rock course!

They were never involved in it that I noticed the last 3 years. But PU would know he competed. |

whenever people show up until midnight. Usually people start feeding in around 6 or after. Rockcrawl will start around 8 or a little after.

Lawnmower racing instead of a rockcrawl.
We have to come back Saturday night, guess I have no incentive to go.

I went to that jambo once about 10 years ago. It was pretty much a celebration of inbred dumbfawk farmers with gigantic tires, stupid lift kits, no sheetmetal trimming, and lots of chrome. Is it still the same now?

What a joke it was...
Thanks to Mike, you and the gang for your party...it was the highlite of the day.
Who in the FAWK was in charge of that debacle?? They ran the monster trucks after dark!?!?! Kept the fans waiting thru mud drags for over 2 hours while the crowd slowly dwindled to a handful. Listening to the Monster Truck drivers and crews-they were pissed. ...and lawn mower racing? Second on my mind when working on my rig is getting that lawnmower to hook up in the turns. Un-FAWKING-believable... Some cool looking rigs-including the Silverado 2500 project by the Bigfoot boys..loved that flat paint job. 13 year old said "next year lets skip the jamboree and just come to 4-wheel parts party"... I will probably send that comment to Family Events, your corp office and O'reilly. I hope this event can survive here in Indianapolis.

I agree the 4wpts was the better part of the day. I hoped to see more vendors there....besides show and shine stuff.
I havent been to Indy since the first year of the rockcrawl three years ago and I doubt I will be back for awhile. I went up this year with high hopes that I might see some benifit to having a booth there next year but I dont see that happening. |

I was down there. I was quiet dissapointed. No deals that were that great. Lots of inbreed hillbillys. Bunch of retards with half tons an 44+. I was just there to bs ,and have some fun nothing hardcore. Best part I enjoyed was BS'n with the Guys from EORP they had a s10 truggy that was similar to mine ,and I spent an hour or better talking to him about it. Next year I hope to bring my S10 down for the crawl. I really thought with this economy they would offer more deals though.

Thanks and I hope everyone enjoyed the 4 Wheel Parts event. The rockcrawl was fun, the band was sweet, some nice show n shines, some good food, and best of all we raised in one night over $2700 for the Crawl to Cure Cancer!
Let me know some feedback on what you guys think we could do to make the 4WP's event even bigger and better next year.

replace monster truck rides with rock crawler rides like they did at sema
did anyone see the discovery hd theater coverage of sema (i think 08) it had the host of monster house and there was a competition course set up where ppl could pay $xx for a ride in a tube buggy... it reminded me of the "jeep experience" that they have at car shows where you get to drive a liberty over a metal hill and then through a mud puddle ![]() but it would be a simple man-made course that is just made for the limits of the provided vehicles... nothing crazy by our standards but enough to give billy bob and bobby sue a taste of what real off-roading is like ![]() and then next to it you could have a big rock pile with a track-hoe standing by... then let anyone who wants to try and crawl it for $5 then all those guys with their k1500s on 44s who just finished the buggy ride will be like no problem then go break their junk on the rocks ... hilarity ensues for us ![]() just an idea

I was there Sunday. Other than buying a new set of Pitbull tires it was a waste of time. I was there 2 years ago and enjoyed all the different vendors. Maybe the economy kept some vendors away this year? I noticed the stupid ass snoopy jeep was there again
I think some different people need to organize this event. The event doesn't seem to be evolving with 4x4 sports. I wish it was geared more towards people that use there rig, not the ones that polish there chrome shocks all year.
