Shop in Northern Illinois?
Alright.. I'm just checking around at this point to see if it's going to be possible to have a shop rebuild my daily while I'm away at basic and AIT. I've got a 95' bronco with the 351w and the e40D. I'm looking to get both the engine and tranny rebuilt. The engine i'm looking to get it massaged out to a 408 perhaps, or something along those lines to hit my ideal power numbers.
I'm also going to have a lift installed at this point, re-geared as well as locker installs. Most of the rest of the suspension is suspect so we're basically looking at a full reworking of the truck. Is there anyone in the area that does this sort of thing? I haven't had any luck on other sites looking around for leads. |

for the trans, I recommend DuPage Transmission in Lisle for the trans. I am sure they can do the engine rebuild as they do all repairs but not sure on performance wise like do the bump it to 408 though.
they built my 4L60E with shift kit, beast sunshell, performance clutch packs, and a quality TC. It has been working really great in last 2 years of abuses that original trans will not survive.
