Fullsize at the cliffs?
I've been to the badlands, harlan KY, Moab, CO but I have never tried the cliffs...
![]() Thats what I am wheeling..its on 39s. I don't mind body damage, the bed is pretty well messed up, fenders/hood/doors scratched and dented up but I'd perfer not to have to replace windows/no be able to open doors trash my roof. Will I fit in at the cliffs and be able to do more than just the main road/trial? Will I be able to get to the rock stuff and the more difficult trails? MIke.

I see lots of full sized rigs everytime i've been their. However i have never persionally seel a fullsized rig on the "difficult" trails. Not sure how much fun it would be in a rig like your at the cliffs.
Most of the fullsized rigs i see are hillbilly's just trying to get muddy.

There is plenty of room on the most of the trails for that truck. With 39s you might be kind of bored. Most of the trails would be too easy IMO...
The Cliffs is mud, mud and more mud. If you like mud it's worth checking out. If not, then I'd hit a different park. |

I wheel at the Cliffs with a full size wagoneer. I would say being a truck would be tough in some area's. I have done about the same amount of body damage at the cliffs as I have at BadLands at times. I am acctually going to the Cliffs this Sunday. Come on out.

I've run my ECSB truck at the cliffs several times. It's on 38s. You will get body damage. So far I've been able to fit anywhere I wanted to...just make some 6 point turns every now and then, but you'll be fine.

The OP, if you do anything other than #1, 3, and 4 and maybe #10, you will get substancial damage, mainly in the roof line. the difficult trails are commonly very tight v-notches with trees and roots all over. There is one rock garden at the top of #44, it is about 150 ft long and is actually fun, depending on the level of slime on the rocks. I suggest going out there and run trail #1, either you will get bashed up and it will take you all day, or you will buzz right through and will have plenty of time/confidence to hit other trails. CONDITIONS are the name of the game there! as long as it hasnt rained tooo much in the past 24-48 hrs you should be ok. (though the valleys never dry up)
