I am west of Indy, and have been renting my oxygen and acetylene tanks from WSI in Ft. Wayne through one of their dealers in Hendricks County. I am only paying $13 a month for both tanks, and had to pay for the contents up front. I need a tank for my new MIG welder, and I am having a hard time making contact with my dealer. I know he works a full time job, and has a family, but you would think after 5 phone calls and 3 messages, a guy would call you back.

I am looking for a new vendor, but the few companies that I have talked to (Tractor Supply, a few local shops) want me to buy the tank, OR, they want me to pay for contents and 5 year tank lease up front. I would rather do it like I have been because it is easier on the wallet (and figured into the budget) to spend $13 a month on tank rental.

I know this is somewhat out of this forum's intended purpose, but I couldn't think of a better place to ask. If I were to ask this in tools or chit-chat, there would be 1000+1 people telling me how they score their tanks for free from their sister in law's cousin that lives in Temple Texas.

Thanks for that. I am actually local to Indy, but I will give Airgas Indy a call. I just tried, but like usual, day late and dollar short. They are closed. I'll hit them up Monday.

Praxair rents tanks, they are on polco street inbetween 10th and 16th westside of indy. http://www.praxair.com/
