this past weekend i went to a dinner party and the mayor was one of their main guest and gave her a few minutes to address the crowd(which is heavily into the import scene). the said the state & county planning board is almost complete with what they need to use and what they are willing to give the Maui Raceway Park. once the boundary is set in stone, MRP along with the county of maui and end user(such as us) can then design & develop the property.

so there is a future of legal access for off roaders. it a small start, but we'll get our foot in the door.

when i get a notice of any meetings related to the development of MRP, i will post it here.

so they are planning to have a 4x4 spot in MRP? or is it just talks of motor sports in general?

either way good deals...I know a few guys wanting to open up their car on some road with no popo hassle

i think it will be for all motorsports. but if the various group no go to their meetings and address their lack of public access on any public land to enjoy what they do, then maybe a section of the property can be set aside of better yet design the space so mutlipe users can make the most use of the area.
