Logandale Trails Video

Let me know if you know the names of these trails or have a link to a map so others can come and visit without making their own trails or destroying what they shouldn't. I really enjoyed this place. Wasn't too busy. Had some great challenges. Just north of Vegas. And most importantly, it had a toilet at the free campsite. Makes a world of difference at 7 in the morning…I'm just sayin…

We had a lot of video and even a few photos to choose from since we had more people, so the video is a lil longer than usual.

First part of the video is the end of Bronco Falls. Second part is one of the bonus lines on the Bowl Trail, not sure if it has a name now. Third part you call First wiseman is actually the second wiseman, there is one before it down the wash, and the third up to the left after you come out of that one. the first and third aren't nearly as gnarly as #2.

2nd Wiseman is fun in the rain. The whole area has zero lateral traction when wet, makes it interesting. Cool vid.

so after the last obstacle in the vid did you turn hard left and exit through the notch obstacle?

I flipped around and drove down the obstacle and the wifey and brother went to the right.

Sounds like we missed another obstacle......

I'd think one of the top 3 knarlies out there. A real test of driver and rig set up. Basically drive up that wall, hard left into that small canyon. V knotch with a undercut hole that'll eat a 40. Stay on the line, crawl right through. Slip and hate life. Once over the notch, drive down wash to dirt fall, bump up and wind out toward the left to meet the dirt trail again.

The hot tub used to be fun, now its filled in and you can drive through it, but still has a nice filter to keep the kids out.

Good times out there. And you did hit one of top 5 knarlies.

Hi Jack, Mike, how are you guys doing? I was all by myself out there until these guys.....and girl, showed up.They were a blast to wheel with. They know the Johnson Valley area like the back of their hand, can't wait to wheel with you and Mike and all these guys again, It was Gnarly!!!!

i have been to logandale a couple of times. a lot of the terrain to me was similar to slickrock in moab. having wheeled quite a bit in moab in the rain and snow, seemed to only makes the traction better. i guess because all of the dirt and dust being washed off. interesting.
