Had a great weekend at Moonrocks. Broke a stub doing a 2nd gear double low run at the Clitorus. Got it fixed even with the fucked up spindle, the stub chundered and flared the spindle out pretty good. We had the use a bottle jack and some blocks of wood along with sawing the steering wheel back and forth to get the wheel bearing off the spindle. In that precess the bearing mushroomed all the spindle threads. I ended up doing some filing after a failed attempt with a die and ended up just impacting the spindle nuts back on the fucked up threads. Got it pretty hard a few times rest of the day and Saturday night. Finally made it up Clitorus after everything was fixed. Fresh off the trailer I went down Oil Pan hill in to a nose dive, truck was on it's way heals over head. I just kept it on the rev limmiter and the right front tire caught some traction causing me to do a full 180* turn and landed back down on its back wheels pretty hard. Kind of a cool thing to land with your rig lined up perfect to go right back up the ledge you just came down...

Had an excellent time at Moonrocks again this year. Those CWB's sure live up to their name! I saw the fight at the Crackline Saturday night. Not really impressed with how it all happened. Every where I wheel in NorCal and Moonrocks there are always hecklers. It's all part of the game. If we want to keep access to all the trails, we should really tone things down some( BS fights). I don't have the most high dollar rig, but I am proud of what I do have. I can understand how the Rockwell Sammi guy would be upset, but lets not physically attack a fellow wheeler in the shadows. What about the bottle busted on the other guys head? Really? Hecklers are everywhere. Suck it up and hit the next obstacle. Just my two cents.
