Minden/G-ville area?

I may be getting transfered and am looking to move to the Minden / G-ville area. Any clubs in the area? Looking for family type clubs. How's the area to live in?

u'll like the area-- lots to do and see. historic mining ruins to 5+++ hard core rock gardens, etc.

Gardnerville is a nice area....nice parks, good for kids. Small, but close to Carson and Reno for some fun. Good luck there, hope you like it.

Damn, you guys haven't been in a while! The meetings are now at the Pizza Barn on 395.

I second the vote for the area. I live in the Johnson Lane area between Minden and Carson where there are endless recreational opps!

I've been hundreds of times out back Johnson Ln. Its a damn nice place to drive if I do say so myself.

And its Open Range which means bring your guns!

hey man thats cool. my gf lives off of vicky ln. right there. hows the crime?? im probubly gona be parking my jeep out there and wana know if it will be ok in the front yard. got a WHOLE lot done to it lol LT-1 Atlus 2 Advance adapters NV4500 the works so yeah lol. also hit me up with info on loval trails and stuff i was kinda curious about some of the local spots area looks like it will be alot of fun to wheel in so yeah. later

Check out the stompers website for runs they have at least once a month in the area.

Crime, its picking up but my no means anything like Carson City or Reno. Its a great family town.

Not to hijack just4fun's thread, but I am also moving to the Minden/Gardnerville area. I figured it would be better to continue on this thread rather than start a new one. I was trying to find an apartment, and I'm not find a ton. Do you guys have any suggestions about where to look. I heard a couple people live in the Ranchos, is that area any good? Thanks for you input.
