finally a little wrenchin' wheelin'

NVScouter came over with a couple sticks of 1 3/4 Dom, to start building his cage, [sorry forgot to take pics], that Bend tech software is spot on!, the only place where we had to make adjustments is where we second guessed the software & kept takin the tube outa the bender [JD2 NE5 air over hydraulic] to check the angles.
any way after we got the tube bent & welded in a couple cross bars, we fired up our Terras & went wheelin on some trails up behind my house

his: [SOA, 4" triangles, full width axles, 5.13's & 38's]

& mine: [SUA, 4" softrides (sagging), stock dana 44's with 4.10's & 33's]

I had him lead, my 33's were into my rear fenders quite a bit, & rubbing the front springs while turning hard, i did a pretty good job keepin' up, until he kicked out a big ass rock that taco'd my drag link
we used my winch to pull it back out so we could get back down the trail...

I guess its time to step up & install my D60/14 bolt combo SOA with some bigger meats, I hate to be out done...

We never found "the rock" that made his Draglink a boomerang. I personaly think Bigfoot came out of the bush and wacked him one

I'll take pics of the cage tomorrow wheeling. I added two more bars and a window inverted V. I also cut out my rockers and re-made them with square tubing and plate

So lets do it!!!!!!!!!

maybe after the holidays are over we can hook up?

as for the rock it may look small to your 38's but with 33's i had no clearance, other than that i did a good job of keeping up with your ass...

Sounds good my time got sucked away I was up until 11 last night laying floor . I get to put the the Christmas tree tongiht (Christmas ) lay more flooring after work.

But hell ya I'm up for it.

You can see most of the cage from this pic. Most of the cage is black but the back bar behind my head is rust colored primer so look hard. I have a good 40' more to add to it before doing rocks. I also only have about 2/3 of my rockers replaced with square tube and plate sliders.
