Places to wheel and camp around Fallon, nv

I live in cali but am heading up to Reno on friday. Looking for a place possibly around Fallon to camp and wheel. I like the high speed desert shit with a little 4x4 mixed in, so sandy whoopty washes are good. I know about sand mountain but they charge 40bucks for a giant sand hill and i'd rather not pay that. I've been to moonrocks and have heard of Mullen Creek (which looks cool for high speed shit as well). I'm thinking fallon would be a good place to escape some of this weather, hopefully its far enough out of the sierras to embrace the rain shadow effect for the weather coming in this weekend.
