Damn, that does look like alot of fun, I might have to make a road trip if it is possible...

Sucks that it is limited to 20 per class. Why are the entry winnings set in stone? If the classes filled up there would be $800 in prize money, yet only $450 paid out. Not that it really matters, if I go it will be for fun anyway...

Don't know.

I can understand wanting to limit the number of rigs, because this event has run well into the dark before... But if there were 22 rigs for a certain class, I bet we could talk them into running everyone.

As far as payout goes, There's never been one before, actually, so that's new...

Usually there have been trophies, and a big raffle. This is the first time I am aware of an actual purse being offered.

We have not had a comp for several years. We as a club took a break. We have had several request to bring the comp back. So to hopefully get people interested we decided on money for placing. In years past we had good prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, places. big tire and small tire. With the economy it was hard to get anything for raffle prizes. I will find out if we have people show up that want to compete and we have reached the 20 trucks per class. what to do. We don't want to turn people away, but also do not want to be running in the dark as has happened in years past for safety concerns.

If you come from South Dakota you can pre register to get you a spot. If you can not make it we will issue a refund.

We are paying out $450 total for each tire class. We hope to have enough trucks come in and compete.

Some of our club members will be at the DTC, so if your going look for some nebraska plates.

I think you have to have a driver's license, but I'm not certain.

Any trails down there other than the courses shown in the pics? Something a moderate truck could do?

Sad that I don't have a rig to come play again. I had a blast the year that I brought the Jeepimog. Took third in the Big Tire class, IIRC.

Here's a video to tease up the interest a little more.

We just have the courses to run. No other trails. The courses can be tough,

Are the courses going to be full of mud and water? The pics sure make it look as if it will be. I don't really care for mud........

Sent in a pre-reg here. If its like past comps, the "log run" had the local fire department dumping in tankers of water making a nice soup. The other would be the creek run. Given the lack of rain though, it just might be dry....
