I'm moving to Pinedale at the end of the month. I'm bringing my Commando that has been in the works for two years now, I'm hoping to have it finished by next summer.

Not from Wyo, but almost. About 20 miles south of Baggs. Wheeled a couple times up around Battle Pass south of Rawlins.

On a side note, a few of us are planning a trip to Rangely, Co on Dec 6th if anyones interested.

So have any of the Sheridan guys went up towards cloud peak lake or elk lake? Or is it even legal to take full size rigs in there. I've talked to some guys that do it on atv's, they didn't know about full size rigs though. Just said big rigs wouldn't make it. I know cloud peak is getting close to wilderness or may be in it, I'm not sure. Just thinking about maybe a camping trip next summer. thanks

I am headed to Sheridan this friday, and won't be home till sunday. I have to get the wife's taco serviced (that didn't come out right) on the 5th, so the 6th is the first date.
It snowed here last night, so I think we are going to be getting some weather pretty soon. I'm afraid if we move it back any more, it will be a snow run instead.

As it stands now, myself and a F4 from Baggs, maybe 2 explorers from here. Not sure about anyone else yet.

If you guys want to move it to the following sunday (13th), we may be able to... I'll just have to dress warm (since my heater doesn't work very well)

No, you can not take a fullsize up there. All of the trails have been classified as atv trails and that means a 50" or less vehicle width.

On a side note. It would not be hard to drive a decently built rig all the way up there. There are two access's that are specifically for trucks; however those roads are private and used only for taking caring of the reservoirs.

It would make for a really good jeep trail, but it'll never happen.

The ATV Trails up here are BS! There are plenty of good trails to run in the Big Horns but we cannot have access to them. It sucks!

Koh

No, we are not going to be able to make KOH this year. With the 4 WEROCK west events, plus the Wyo-crawl and the Old School crawl in Delta Ut, we are going to be maxed out on vacation days...let alone the financing is going to be tight next year. You running KOH, or just helping out?

Not running this year, just pitting for pook. And going to hit some trails after.
planning on the werock and others if we have enough funds.

I dont think my junk could hang at the koh race.

That does suck. So are there any good trails in the big horns? My rig is no buggie but I am past the mild part too.

We do a handful of play days there. As soon as Mnorby gets his junk together I'm sure we will have to give her a test or two. There is alos some fun stuff over by Cowley, Wy. If you are thinking of coming up sometime give Mnorby a shout or me one and we can see who all can go.

Technically we do have a 3 day pass, we did that for desert race guys that come and tune their race trucks on our track. Best bet though is just get ahold of me and we'll just do a play day and everyone is welcome.

Hey Shane thanks again,

Going to have to start a new post with some pics. Got my JK sitting up on 42's, just waiting on the axles to arrive. Did some body trimming yesterday so she can flex out without rubbing in the rear. Front axle should take care of the full turn rubbing we have and then its out to play.

If anyone is out and about, stop by and say Hi. We are on Elk Street, just about a mile north of I-80 on the west side of the street. Still waiting on our signs, but there is a banner sign on the front of the building.

I sold my bender when I got divorced for lack of room and am kicking myself, once cash flow improves a bit, still hurting from the start up a little, then I plan to get another bender. I know a few people that have benders and are very good with them. Give me a call when you are ready and I can put you in touch with them. One has offered to bring one of his to the shop and I am probably going to take him up on that. He has been very busy and hard to reach but sure we will be in touch with him soon.
