Now that was a little below the belt there .... but at least its not a Scout :blackflipoff2:

i've been looking for the pics of you flopping the scout on a flat road, but i think i left the memory card for my camera in my truck when i headed back to kuwait oh well ... It's only a CJ by name now though ... its getting all kinds of different parts dropped in soon, so not sure what to call it (other than a pile of bolts of course)

It's a "club" site, but non-members are always welcome!!!!

True 'dat!

So.....was it just me, or did anyone else think it was funny we are in the "USA - North Central" with NoDak, SoDak, and Minnesota...rather than PNW?? Or does living closer to Seattle than to Broadus just make it feel that way to me in W. MT?

We don't.

We go snow wheeling.

If you can't make it in your stock Subaru, the FS thinks it should be closed..

Hi, my name is Tom, and I drive a Scout.

.. well, okay, I drive several Scouts.

Is that like being an alcoholic twice?

Convention will be in Helena 4/25-26 for those interested..

Can I get a whoop-whoop?!

Or come up to Blacktail...it's not pure rock, but it's some good mixed dirt/rock trail challenge!!

So...

...maybe I'm being too paranoid too late, but we've had it good here in Kalispell with one district on the Flathead NF.

What if Nobama changes the FS Administration (he will) and they try to shut down everything the Skyliners and Big Sky 4Wheelers have done in the past four years. We will need everyone's help in Montana and beyond when travel planning goes through this spring to lock the new changes in. The original Skyliners were very forward-looking 37 years ago when they asked the FS to make the Blacktail-Wild Bill Trail a National Recreation Trail (and it still is, today). We need to be as forceful in making the current changes permanent!!!!

Stop on by if you're in town.

I just might do that, I'll probably be hitting the road around the 20th and swinging through Idaho to say hi to my mother, and then on down that way .... probably put me in moab around 1 on the 21st. Thats if the Jeep is all put together and not broken when i hit the road

Belgrade here, or belowgrade if you are so inclined. Anybody heading to Moab around the end of April? I'd love to have some wheelin partners..... if not I'm going by myself sucka!!!

I need a new wheeling crew around here too cause all of my previous wheelers can't decide whether they want to wheel or just have stuff that "looks cool." Pisses me off.

Any trail rides going on in the near future around SW, NW MT or Eastern Idaho? I been going wheeling at night during the week,,,, by myself. It's pathetic really.

Last edited by MROTSTIHS; 03-18-2009 at 08:32 PM. Reason: had to add sucka!!

The Mountaineers have one or two runs a month in the Gallatin Valley area. Never seems to be a shortage of trips coming out of the Bozeman crew.

Divide Ride will be in Philipsburg in July..

Couple of those Mountaineers piss me off. Went on a run some years back with them and these two guys were giving this poor chap (wife and kids present) too much hell for getting stuck. If you don't have 40 grand in your toyota or Jeep these fucks don't want anything to do with you being on a run with them.

I really like seeing new people in the beginning stages of wheelin cause I remember how much fun it was, and is, learning how much fun it is to be in your rig outdoors.

Swore I wouldn't support that crew but I may have to suck it up. We'll see. I have been jonesin' to get on that divide ride for years. I just need to dedicate the time and do it.
