Not really what I consider a rig yet but some stuff I have planned is, toy axles, fabbed frame, yj spring under, crossover steering, toyota or ford 2.3l turbo setup and D20 for dig.

yeap never should of sold it in the first place it will probably be getting the motor fully rebuilt when i get days off. The rebuild kit is cheaper that buying a head gasket and timing chain kit.

theres not much close by have to travel most of the time but there is some at the motorcross track for trial runs on new builds

I've kinda eyeballed around there while travelling. Looks like some random cool rock outcroppings around the gurnsey/torrington area though, not sure if all on private land or not.

Edit: nevermind, for some reason I read you are now located in Douglas, not Dubois. If you get up to the Cody/Powell area look us up.

also there is esterbrook but it is mostly restricted to 50" wide atvs on the trails but there is some old unmaintianed forestry roads that are not to extreme but still fun

Since your shop is located in dubois would it be posible to come check it out in person I'm planning on buying one of your benders with part of my tax return.

Im thinking about building my old yota into a light weight budget buggy. Since the body has seen better days.

haha...might as well be! I moved here in 96, originally from Oregon. So just a wee bit before JH went to total crap.

Few built trucks around town but I don't think they ever get wheeled. Asked a local guy who has a built FJ60 (now with 4BT) if he ever wheels his truck on Mud and he never replied. I got one buddy in town with an FJ60 and we go out a few times a year but ya, most of my wheeling buddies are over in Idaho.

I am currently truckless but building a few rigs so things are in the works. Still interested in hooking up with others in Wyoming and finding some good trails. I don't know of any good trails in Western Wyoming beside old forest service roads.

Some of the best trails i've found in the bighorns where logging roads that where not on the map but where not marked as being closed. Kinda worried about getting in trouble for being on them because they where obviously not well travel but they weren't marked as closed so i kinda figure it was a gray area.

Almost all the trails local to me end up being old logging roads. Sometimes they get challenging I don't mind cruising them!
