Any wheeling around Buffalo, SD or Deadwood

My new wife is from Buffalo,SD. her family lives there still. Thought I might bring my rig up there if there was some places to run in or around Deadwood, Buffalo, Rapid.

check out the black hills 4 wheelers web site. It also depends on how built your rig is.

Black Hills is now a trail system forrest. we used to be able to go wherever but no you need a map and have to follow the trails. there is still alot of great trails but if you are thinking about this time of year some areas are closed off for the wildlife and the snow is getting deep
x2 on checking out bh4wheelers

I will check out the club. I run a 1980 scout II dana 60s lockers. Nothing fancy but works. Would love to run up there this coming summer. Her brother lives in Humboldt, SD always stop through on the way to Buffalo. Would love to wheel up there since most my wheeling has been midwest IL and MO.

O ya you will have a blast! There are over 20 trails and more located all over the black hills and lots of them close to I-90! There are some members of the BH4W on here i would search for the Dakota Territory Challenge on here and send them some PM'S.

depending on when you will be around I might be out. I live in Tea, 30 miles east of Humbolt but I spend as much time as possible in the Hills when it's warm. I leave the truck in the Hills all summer. let me know

I will do some searching. We won't be up there till spring. I am looking forward to doing some wheeling up there. I would like to get connected to some clubs in the area. Nice to have some contacts when I come through. I'll post up some pic's of my beat up rig tonight.

Ive been there a few times from Iowa. I met some black hills 4 wheelers on my way thru and joined a trip they had planned the next day.

They have a website and will hook you up if your heading that way.

Right outside deadwood is camp 5 area, plenty there for a day or two, I would get a local for a guide for sure!!
