I needs ford 8.8!

I need to swap in a ford 8.8 in my XJ. I'm in the Danbury CT area.... id like a 4.11 disc brake axle... I know im asking a lot but i cant find any thing here except for 1 tons. Maybe I can help you find a dana 60 and we can split the difference????

Any luck on finding an 8.8? My friend comes across axles often, but an 8.8 hasn't crossed by him in a while. He does have a 9" that i know he's looking to move quickly and for a good price. I know it's not what you asked for, but I figured i'd throw it out there. Good luck, if you'd like i can get you in touch with him.

go to your local junk yard, i picked one up this weekend and had two to choose from with 4.10's. then the diff had a warranty on it too. just call up the junkyards, which i know there are several near you, used to live in Easton, and tell them you need an 8.8 from an explorer with 4.10s

any reason why you wanna go with an 8.8? an 8.25(29spl) is fine for 35's and has no break in the carriers witch makes it cheaper/easier to gear and you can easily swap ZJ discs on to that for very little money.
