I need a norton ignitor, 14-410 bad. Mine went out last night and its cold. I ordered one online but I wont have it until monday. If anyone has one or can get me one before the weekend, please let me know.

The replacement ignitors are typically not make specific.
Go to any plumbing supply house with the broken ignitor in hand and tell them you need a new one.
When you go to install it wear latex gloves and try not to touch the element on the ignitor.

I did not know about not touching it. I have had one go every year. I thought it was odd but maybe thats why.

dan im guessing its a hot surface ignitor? in a pinch the honeywell universal one can be used.any united refrigeration or fw webb etc will have replacements in stock.also if its a hot surface yoy cannot touch the black part the oils on your skin will ruin it

Thanks guys. I found an ignitor at a local supply house that deals trane, but after getting it installed I found out I need a controller now.
The fun never ends.
