Tire Repair in Philly Area
Ahoy..
Does anyone know anyone in the Philadelphia area that does tire sidewall repair? I have a small cut in the sidewall of a 42/15-17 Pitbull Rocker Bias that needs repaired. So far I've called two commercial tire places and they can get it repaired but they need to send it out and it takes around 2-3weeks. Anyone have any other places? Thanks. |

That's funny, considering I've been there where they repair them. It's at their retread plant in Sellersville (5 minutes from Qtown).

yeah, bergeys sends them out but they send them to their own retread shop in sellersville as dan said. bergeys can be strange to deal with so i am not surprised they gave you the run around a bit. its sort of like they don't know what they do and what services they offer.
it does take a few days usually though

Best thing is to just take it there. If it's within 3" of the bead, they will not do it. Been there, done that. It won't be done while you wait.

I'd call them. Maybe even send them that picture?

what was the other company you called? Henesy? Service tire truck center? Service tire would have to send it out, but it gets sent to bethlehem i belive.

Bernie Kelly tire vucanizer
I had a guy Bernie repair my sidewalls, and he did them while I waited in his garage. He is located in Phillipsburg, NJ. Not that far from Philly. He can be reached at 908-319-5485
