Is camping detirmined on the night you stay. For example you wheel sat and sunday, therefore you are only camping sat night?
Correct. If you show up Sat. morning and plan to leave on Sun. then you only get charged for one night of camping.

This is not the Big Dogs event. This is our 9th Fall Crawl, I am sure ours was the first. This is our first time at the Cove, we have had it at Paragon and Rausch Creek in the past. This is put on by the Bay to Blue Ridge Cruisers out of central Virginia.

We are planning to hold the festivities in Camp 6. Camp 6 does not require a reservation.

If you wanted to camp in another campsite, then reserving ahead of time would be a good idea. Camp 6 can be a little loud in the evenings...

Online registration is almost done. We have the mail in registration done. I will post it soon.

Woa don't be bringing a bunch of official like procedings to camp 6, shit will get out of hand.

We always camp on the hill to left when you come into 6, if you don't allready know anyone in our crew then stop in for a beer and say hi.

If you are bringing a rig then you need to register to attend.

If you are coming to be a passenger and don't want to participate in the dinner, then you don't have to register.

We will be capping the event at 100 registered rigs so don't hesitate to register!

Each Registered driver will receive a Drivers raffle ticket. You cannot buy a drivers raffle ticket, so at the most, there will only be 100 tickets.

That being said, all registered drivers will have a 1 in 100 chance at winning a Miller 140 Auto-Set welder and Hood

tech inspection

Ok i know this was discussed earlier, but on the registration form your insurer wants working turn signals wipers all of that?? That basically limits a lot of people here.

So how do we handle this? I want to bring down three vehicles and I know turn signals are not there.....

Let me know so I dont get turned away at event after dropping a lot of money in fuel/reg fees.

Thanks

I posted the guidelines as an attempt to get some kind of information out there to keep people interested......I realize now that it was a mistake. I have had a lot of people with the same concerns.

If you are bringing trail rigs then some of the items do not pertain to them.

To sum it up, there will be plenty trail rigs going that don't have the items of concern and they will be able to wheel.

All we care is that the rigs are safe. Make sure you have an extinguisher and first aid kit.

To make this easy, in the state of Virginia, hand signals work for turn signals As long as the driver has a left arm and hand, they will be fine!

Really like Vince said, have a fire ext and first aid kit and seat belts.

Just curious on this, as far as tools, or electricity etc. Does the cove have that? I know where we normally wheel they have electricity and an air compressor on site for ppl to use.

Does the cover have power at the camp sites? Or would we want to bring a gen set and air compressor?

Camping is primative. No power, no lights, no "current". the Cove does not have a onsite repair facility like some place so if you think you will need it bring it.

On this note, no onsite fuel either. Fill up or top off on rt50 before you get there. It is about 20 min to the closest gas station. It is on the rt hand side before you turn off, big enough to get a semi in and has diesel, small groceries, beer, ect. I can not remember the name of the station but it is about 7 miles outside of Winchester.

If I can get a motor in my junk in time I will have a gas powered stick welder with me, its small enough to tote in the woods for trail repair but will still run 1/8th 7018. Anyone have a good 22re long block laying around?
