2010 BFG Outstanding Trails

We all know what BFG does for this program.
Over the years we have had 3 trails in California picked.
Rubicon, Fordyce and Superstition or Black Cat.

I am finishing up the list for nominations for 2010 that I will send off to BFG by weeks end.

I have a pretty good selection of California trails on the list, and others along the west coast area.
I am looking for some trails from back east to add to the list.
If anyone knows of some good trails along the Eastern seaboard, it would be great.

I think a few more in the midwest would be good too.
I would like to have well over 40 trails from across the country for BFG to pick from.

Todd

Thanks for the above info. I forgot to ask for the following info:

Post them up here with the following info:
Trail Name:
Club or org that maintains the trail.
Contact person name with phone and email ( this can be emailed to landuse at ufwda.org)

Why the trail should be nominated.

Anything else that is special about the trail and club/org that maintains it.

Todd

There are trails in the North East but no one will post them for the out standing trails program. Living in an area that has a 1/4 of the nations population the in the size of California would mean to much over use. Legal trails are a tightly guarded here and will most likely not be added to a public listing. Money isn't everything land is

Thanks for deleting my post even though it was no less off topic than the previous two.

Guess I might as well go ahead and apologize for being one of the people that voiced my opinion that we needed a northeast forum to begin with, and then actually post wheeling pics/vids unlike most

I did not delete your post.

I am trying to get more trails recognized for the benefit of the clubs that maintain them.

Rok-Park , maintained by the Rok-Freekz...

Completely non-profit, located in Fonda, NY. Private Property that is "Invite Only" as it's easy to get it too crowded. Public invites flow quite freely, though... and it is relatively easy to become a Rok-Freek if you are a good fit for the group.

Mostly hardcore natural buggy terrain... best way to describe it is a "Skate Park for Crawlers", but that being said, there is something for everyone.

I'll take the publicity... and the money towards NY taxes and maintenance.

The rok-freekz is good one for the program.

Along with the Rok Park maintenance they do trail work with the local sled clubs maintaining trails that are not even open to 4x4's.

keeping a positive relationship with the local sled club is more than worth the little sweat equity we give in return.

there litterally are hundreds of positive things for the Rok-Freekz to choose from that could be reality with an influx of extra money... all of which which would bennefit the local offroad community.

Rok Park in NY has some great terrain. A little for everyone but definitely a built rig/ buggy heaven. Its well maintained, with new obstacles being cut constantly and I have never seen anyone leave there dissatisfied including myself!
