Okay, so I'm planning...

a trip to the northeast next summer for me, my wife and our little girl. I'll be driving my ZJ. I'm trying to get idea's, for what I want to do. So I figured best idea would be to ask people from that area. So far, I have the Cape Cod Oversand route in the Provincetown area on my list. Anyone explore the Baxter State Park near Millinocket, Maine? Seems like a nice leisure 4x4 destination. Anyone got good suggestions? Just looking for something nice, nothing extreme, after all, I'll just be driving a ZJ on 31's.....

Going out through New York to Mass, and up through Maine all the way out to Nova Scotia....

Where are you coming through NY?

depending on when/where I could probably show you some cool spots that your family would like and your ZJ would make it to

Be going through across I-90. Don't know if I'm going to stop in NY much though....it depends on the day. I was looking into doing the thunder road tour at Watkins Glen, take the ZJ out for a couple laps....

I'm really interested in the North Woods area of Maine....I was looking into the abandonded steam locomotives at Eagle Lake....and driving the logging roads in the area...

if you are going into maine, look into all wheels off road in lewiston, me. just a regular guy that owns 400+ acres, and opened it up to 4x4's. $10 for all day wheeling, and offers very rustic camping. i went up a few of the trails last time i was there in m 01 1500 with 31's.

If you're going to be in the North Adams area in Mass check out Old Florida Rd. It's quick and if your not comfortable with the step ups there are bypasses. Good Wheeling Town! You can Google where its is and look up Old Florida Rd on You Tube to see the terrain. Have a good trip.
