I recently moved back to PA and I am excited that there is a new OHV site opening near me. I have been wheeling in KY, TN and NC for the past couple years.

So my phone rings with different people today asking “are you going to let people say shit about you and RC”. Guys say whatever you want about me or RC if that makes you feel better. What is with all the fucking hate ?
For all the haters have fun with it. For those who just want to wheel and leave the drama out of it Thanks! Barry if you are reading this (I assume you will at some point) I give you credit for putting the time and effort into this project. Whatever people what to think about this post they can but I do wish you luck. There is no hate from me about another wheeling spot but there is hate when people slam us for just trying to run our business in a tough economy. We have built something from nothing and sorry for being proud of what we have done. I will jump off this thread and my intent is not to mess with the topic at hand but I will address people when they call me out. So 2k2wrangler Whatever to you too ![]() Doug look at the facts before you post info. 2003 $25 2007 Jan $30 (nothing to do with PAP but to do with lease) Jan 2009 $35 So that's two increases in 8 years time that co insides with our increases for us to run our park. Since we don't own the land we don't have full control. OK I need to take a ride in my viper to cool down later Bruce

The rate increase was within days of PAP closing. It was a slap in the face of a lot of people. I dont need to look it up I was there. PAP closed in Jan and then was able to have a last ride Feb 3rd. I dont remember what it was but if you tell me it was 5$ then so be it. I cant find it in writing but it seemed more. I dont wheel other than a race at your place so it is what it is. Competition breeds the better for everyone. You and I both know business and how much it sucks to be on the rotten end of the stick. Especially during 2007. Remember? I wonder how Charlie felt about that deal that went south. So what comes around goes around. If that leaves you pissed then sorry. It is what it is. I'm not talking shit just stating what is. I dont remember a thing about a lease but I do remember a parking lot and improvements. Your perogative to be pissed. No hate here.

Just for the record ...
What has evolved into the project now known as the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area , has been in the works for 14+ years . Long before some other parks were open, or even thought of . The AOAA is modeled to become an economic engine to attract adventure tourism into lower Northumberland County. Supporting existing businesses and opening the door of opportunity for new ones. The more places there are for legal offroading the better it is for everyone. As area's for wheeling disappear every year, legal and illegal, the need for new legal area's becomes more important for the good of the sport . The AOAA fully supports all other parks and legal area's. I know what it takes to legally open a large scale off road area. My hat is off to Bruce for bringing available another 8000 acres ! That is an accomplishment that few people will ever experience. Personally , I hope that in some way , RC and the AOAA can work together to make Eastern Pa. THE place to go . Barry |

I've had the pleasure of being out to AOAA in the spring with Barry and a few of the PA big wigs. And it will truly be a great place to wheel. I can't wait to get out there and help with trail cuttings.
As for the whole RC thing this should help them as well. get people to travel out to the area for not one but 2 good wheeling parks with in an hour of each other. a few of the sights from AOAA ![]() ![]()

Sorry you mommy didnt love you as a child. ![]() I can only imagine which one of the RC klick this one can be. Dont have the real balls to say something like that to my face do you? Dont hide behind a screen name Sissy. Thats the problem with wheeling drama, no real men in the game.

Back on topic. No hate. Multiple places are a good thing for the wheeling community. There is mutual respect between the places. The drama needs to stop. It's about having fun doing what we love. Nobody is getting rich doing this. Looks promising up there.

Just as there are many well a couple of parks in the North east, there are many different users in the northeast. And there likely would be more users with more opportunities available to them, there are more than enough users to support 2 parks in the area. I for one welcome a variety of places to wheel..

![]() stop over. the trails will be rated 1-10, 10 being the interesting stuff. They are asking our club to identify and make some of the trails that will be rated 8-10. should be a fun little task.
