Anyone know of a good source for Railroad Ties in the North Bay? I am in Ukiah so hopefully I can find somewhere close.

If you are looking at buying some I know of a place in Vacaville that sells them. Look on line under cruise america. If you looking for free sorry can't help

I need between 16 and 20 of them. I don't mind buying them. I'm just trying to find the best price / source.

if you were closer to sac I could probably hook you up. I have a friend that works for the railroad, and he has brought home old ties several times. they are swapping a lot of them over to concrete ties so they have a ton of old wood ones.

If they were free I might be willing to make the drive. Its only a 2 hrs and could save me some coin vs buying them if they are in good condition.

My FIL bought a bunch from Meade Clark in Santa Rosa, I don't recall the price but he said they were very reasonable.

Bit of a drive though.

I will give them a call. I go to Santa Rosa at least a couple of times a month so its not too bad.
