My son took a job with the VA in Oakland last year and has a 06 CTS. He is having trouble with the engine. One shop told him 10k to fix it. I can get a new engine installed for 5 here! If anyone knows a good trusted shop, PLEASE tell me! He is a disabled vet and I don't want to go get it and bring it back to Ogden. Thanks for taking the time and looking!

Only shop I know around there is Any7Offroad, I'm sure they could give you an honest idea of what is wrong

I have a friend and trusted mechanic in Campbell (South Bay), might be too far from where he is in Oakland! PM if interested.
