need a good shop for work on a chev one ton
tough weekend, been moving my mom to georgetown and while backing the trailer into the driveway a lower ball joint sheered off and broke on the 3500 i just bought last week. It had a salvage title and that area is what was hit. Also bent the tie rod. Looking under there the parts dont seem very beefy for a one ton but probably made in china.
I need to get it towed to a shop and i need a shop that specializes in trucks. I was thinking worst case to the dealer but thats always a gamble. I need to get an inspection done on that front driver side and get the ball joints replaced with some better quality parts. I use the truck to pull unimogs, blazers etc and i cant have ball joints breaking obviousley. any tips on beefing up suspension or a semi local shop auburn, pville, etc frustrated. errrrrr
