We gotta list the best places to have a drink 'round here.

Who knows about the Mother Lode Salvage Co. in Smith Flats?

It's all bout dem Clamper Bars.

In my hood:

Bon Gusto's in Byron

others:

ABC Lounge in Antioch: Clamper owned AND they have Strippers

The Florence Saloon in Niles: Also Clamper owned

I ALWAYS stop fer a beer at that Clamper bar in Georgetown on the way to the 'con every summer (I think it's the Miner's Club)

AND
I ALWAYS stop fer a beer at Uncle Tom's

AND THE ONE PLACE I WILL ALWAYS MISS:

The Union Jack Pub in downtown Pleasanton. It's now closed, but everytime I hear that Toby Keith song, I think of that place back in the day. Even my ugly ass pulled some decent pussy from that bar.

OH, and I missed the biggest one: LOST ISLE!!!!! If you are a brother and have never been there, let me know and next summer I'll cruise you out in the boat. If it's a big weekend you will want to bring a camera fer the T&A show.

Past-time is still there, it's OK...

But the pub had JULIE. If you have ever been there, you know who I am talking bout.

She was an improved version of Carmen Electra. Shorter and just a little bit thicker.... and her A$$!!!! OMG!!! She coulda started a religion with that ass. Guys would just sit at the bar and order stuff off the bottom shelf to see her bend over or squat. She made that bar.

Whats more, she was just a really cool chick with a great attitude.

And while we are on the topic of hot bartenders:

The bar in the Brookdale lodge up in the Santa cruz mountains is a cool spot. The owners daughter bartends occasionally and she was in penthouse. HAWT!

X2 for that. Her name is Jennifer if I remember right. Her folks owne(d) the Pioneer Saloon in Woodside too( also a cool place, or used to be). She used to bartend there too, so did her sister Meredith. Also hot. They used to have the fugly friends they would hang out with just to make them look better.

For the few of us here, probably the Red White & Brew (aka: Brew Pub). It is little, serves a couple dozen different ales on tap, has hot bartender babes, live music on Fri. and Sat. nights, and a nice outdoor sitting area that no one really watches.

X2

I was going out there 15 years ago when it was REALLY good
Kinda like going to watch the filming of a cheap "B" movie.
It's not quite the same recently, I think they got into some trouble and had to tone it down. Last time I was out there it was pretty dead.

I work right next to the bell lounge and have nothin' real good to say about the placee or the people, except that the bartenders are all pretty nice, and the beer is cold... I've heard good thing bout red white and brew tho...It's the one on Hilltop correct?

getting back to the original post... 'Who knows about the Mother Lode Salvage Co. in Smith Flats?' I drive by that place all the time - just not at the right time of day to stop in for a drink. Anybody ever been there? Looks a bit rustic from the outside and once in a while there are a couple of horses hitched up outside... could be an ultra lounge on the inside for all I know - what's the scoop?

You'll have to let me know about going back out to Lost Isle... that place was the shit. How they still operate a bar right there is out of control. I've seen some Drunk MF get in their $100K+ boats and drive away after they couldnt walk! Good Times! I just don't know about getting in the water anymore... pretty nasty! Clamper Bar eh!! sweet charlie

Yeah, that's the one. There are a couple of us that are regulars there. If the Fatals are playing there, guaranteed we'll be there.

one of these days I gotta stop in for a cold one at the library - if for no other reason just to say I had a beer at the library

(the old cattle club, near sac state)

Been a long time since I've been 'watering' outside of my garage but the zebra was good fun.
