My first visit to Placerville Brewery...
Randii contacted me yesterday about something entirely different but mentioned he would be at the P'ville Brewery after 5pm. Hmmmmm, I had never been there so I decided I would give it a try. The wife actually went with me, much to my surprise. She's usually prefers to stay home. So, off we go. Walked in and didn't see any Randii or anyone else we recognized, so we found a table and parked in the corner.
Few minutes later, 'Disco' came over. 'Thought that was you I saw coming in the door', he says. Hadn't seen 'Tim' in a while either. He was sitting with some others around the corner but their table was full so we stayed where we were and had a nice meal. Their bbq Tri-tip sammich is awesome. I had a couple beers. Wife had ice tea in case she had to drive. So we finish up and get ready to head out when (finally), Randii shows up. Also hadn't seen him in gosh knows how long so we chat for a bit and headed out. I needed a walk around the block after all that food. I think we'll be making this place a regular stop. Yeah, it was that good... Oh, and the beer was great too. I only got to the Golden Ale but I plan on trying all of their different flavors on future visits...
