Snow wheeling the Castle peak area

Well not really wheeling. But I want to drive north on Boreal Ridge Rd. to find sone sledding areas for me and my friends. The area is legal for snow mobiling but I cannot find any info about being able to drive on the road.

If you're talking about up to the peak from the road by Boreal, I think its gated a 'bout a mile up. I've hiked to the top of CastlePeak from there, no road that I know of.

Maybe a longshot but I'm thinking the Tahoe National Forest should have some info available.
