Any good sushi places around Monterey Bay?
Title kind of states it. Just curious if anyone can recommend a good sushi place around the Monterey Bay.
I've got a friend coming out who like sushi and wanted to take a day trip to Monterey. |

we always went to ichi riki in seaside. prob not the greatest though, I dunno. I never had any problems there. Theres a place at the beginning of the municipal warf number 1, at the start of the beach, i forget what the name is, my sister liked it, kinda pricey if i remember correctly though. Theres also 2 places on lighthouse in monterey that werent bad. sorry i can't be of more help, not a huge sushi fan, seems overpriced to me. i can recommend plenty of other types of food though. pm me if u want to know more, i grew up in monterey

alternates on sushi, no dice, havent been to many, sorry.
Chinese: Chef Lees off of del monte, right near highway 101. Mexican: Papa Chanos on alvarado street (best burritos ever, try the bbq chicken) Sandwhiches: Randys is good, Valnizzas is best (choose soft baked bread...and gouda cheese. they use real meat too, not that slimy thin sliced crap)

if you want decent priced seafood, hit the sandbar, its under the wharf, literally, good atmosphere, great view at sunset......
