Build Help Needed In Cameron Park
I'm building an 86 4-runner in Cameron Park.
I've got tools and beer, and I'm willing to be the biatch. But when it comes to certain parts I need some guidance. I don't want to pay to have the work down, becasue, Well, I want to be able to make trailside repairs on my own. And It's hard to repair something you don't build. The rig is in my garage. I have some tools welder, plasma, and A tool box full of hand tools. I just need someone, or more than one person that wants to help out a fellow wheeler. I don't want to be a web wheeler, I want to do it. Any help would be great PM with Any Questions Thanks Kevin |

Project List
Truck is not street legal, and I'm not tring to change that.
Not in any particular order 1.Bob Rear End 2.Complete new Dash 12vlt guy panel and so on (started cardboard templet) 3.When I bought the truck 4.3L V-6 4l60e auto dual cases 60-14 s/s 38's the front radiator support section was cut out. I want to put the original grill headlights new fenders and so on Have all these parts, all new in the box. Kinda going for closer to stock look 4.New TG double Transfer case skid plate w/ changing out the back case to 4.7(have these items allready) 5.Rear disc brake conversion, I was even thinking of pulling all the old brake line shit off and running all new.. 6.cutting of some of the old brkts and hangers thats left 7.dual batteries (have two Optimas relocated to the rear. And just some other minor stuff. I don't know alot of pepole in the sport at this time. Wanted to get back into. Was going to pay to get all this done. But started on the dash and am really enjoying it. I just need a couple of guys that our willing to take me under thier wing. Come over hang out tell me what to do and how to do it drink some beers and so on. I figured out when I remodeled both of my bathrooms. Complete tear out to studs. The first one took 2 months the second took 1 month. So I figured if I could get some guys to help me out, and point me in the right direction, it should take half the time Also have been taking photos since the start will post the complete build thread when done. Thanks for the intrest. Kevin months. Last edited by kryan; 02-07-2007 at 06:41 PM. |

Club
I thought about a club, But how do you know which one to join.
I don't want to join a club thats Too Extreme (Just Yet). But I also don't want to join a club thats mild and make a bunch a friends then move on once my rig is built. I've been lurking on these boards for almost 10 months. It seemes thiers alot of people that are fast to flame somebody, with what they think are stupid questions. But I guess most would rather spend thier time on the internet than in my Garage? I hope not, but we'll see.
