Sorry, I thought you knew, I'm in the post pics of your rig section.

We had a great time, found snow heading up FS 50 to Bowman, then arrived at Greenhorn for late lunch. Got lost following Broncricks directions from an old thread

Man I love that area, I usually drive down from Dutch Flat on Lowell Hill rd.
I havnt been able to cross the river where the bridge is washed out at the end of Lowell in a long time.

I like going to the washed out bridge, went down there saturday evening and theres a burned car next to the bottom of the bridge by the water. I was expecting to find a body in the back but i didn't. Going to go down there again in a couple of days maybe, its a cool area. The river is HELLA deep down river from the bridge, you used to be able to cross it but its impossible now.

I knew I should have cruised down to the riverbed... I was actually there on Saturday as well. My agenda however wasn't wheelin but rather skeet shooting (we were down off Lowel Hill by the bridge in fact).

Of course... after shooting, I got a wild hair up my ass and thought I would give the lowel hill crossing a try... Keep in mind that I am fully aware that my OBA regulator took a dump and I likely didn't have air to juice up the ole ARB's. I got out, took a good look, threw a pebble or two in, and decided to go for it. What a retard I am... I got two feet in and it looked like it was another 3 feet down before hitting the river bottom. And of course backing up a sandy, gravely hill was an excercise in futility. By some stroke of luck, I got enough air through to get the lockers working... a little bit of digging sand and I was back up the hill with my tail between my legs.

The moral of the story, dont try the lowel hill crossing for at least another few months, its deep

The northern-most entrance to the river bed is Buckeye road. Go down Red Dog Rd, hang a left on buckeye, keep driving till ya hit the riverbed.

I am going this weekend, Saturday i am going down with my Jeep to show my dad around and Sunday i am going down with my quad to mess around

If I can find it on my maps I probably will show up on Thursday night or Friday morning. Are there any campgrounds close by? I don't care about restrooms or anything.

If someone can mention some campgrounds close by I could probably set-up a base camp, meeting spot as I will be up there until Sunday.

I guess it is time to go down to the truck and pull out the maps.
