I know alot of people that are already going so you will surely run into other wheelers. Not sure if I can make it.

your very informative reply has been noted. I think this is the same type of logic you used to draw your conclusion.

Place banana in your ear.
Observe that there is no alligators around.
Conclude bananas placed in ears keep aligators away.

its a fun trail, some pretty hard spots especially if the rocks are wet and you dont have a locked truck, and a few good size ledges. once your at the lake there are some sweet views and camping spots. its not like the con or fordyce, but still worth the trip out there.

i would have figured it was higher than that. we did get a dusting of snow here at about 4000 feet last night. it is just about gone now. quite a bit of rain came through so i bet there is snow at the higher elevations.

Sounds like the trailhead is only a few miles from the rubicon. Are you going saturday or sunday or both? Sounds like fun but I have some stuff going on Saturday. If you are heading up Sunday I would like to tag along.
