81 Days
In 81 Days I will be returning to the "real world" after a year remote in S. Korea away from my family/daughter and jeep (98 TJ).
I will be stationed at Travis AFB in Vacaville. Upcoming projects are tube fenders, 8.8 rear, new Dana 30 components and a few more skids. I have started to buy all the components and ship them home so they are ready - anyone know of any good 4x4 shops in the local area and also, anyone know where i can get my brackets welded onto the 8.8? Fill me in on the local clubs/area too? Very excited to get "home"

I am Ex AF, I know where you are at.
There are a ton of clubs in the area, try a few out and find the one that matches you best. Join Cal 4 wheel http://www.cal4wheel.com/ The in-gear ( comes with membership ) magazine has a listing of clubs in the area. If you have a problem finding someone to do your welding work, ID where you want everything, and bring it to Sac. I will weld it up for you, drop me a PM when you are local. Stuart
