Mud Bogs/Mud Drags

Are there any good annual mud drags going on in norcal?

Ive been trying to get some info on some, but haven't had much luck.

I have already searched, but couldn't not find much.

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Mud Bog at Surplus City

Yes the next Mud Bog at Surplus City is September 6th and 7th. There will be a new 100 foot bog for the 8 cylinder and unlimited rigs. We will also have the existing 60' bog for the 4/6 cylinder rigs. Lookiing at multi runs this year. Watch our web site at www.cj-jeep.com for the rules and schedules. They will be posted soon.

Have you thought of running a few more classes in the mud bogs so a sbc doesn't have to run against a blown big block?

4/6 cylinder stock, 4/6 cylinder unlimited, 8 cylinder and then unlimited. Not sure what other classes to think about. A stock small block should be running in the 8 cylinder class where as a blown big block should be in the unlimited class. Engine size and tire size are the major deciding factors for class groups. The classes we are running now are not full. To add extra classes and have only 1 or 2 rigs show up is not cost effective right now. Once all the classes are full or close to full we will talk about additional classes. Tell all you friends to come on out and enter. The new bog for the bigger rigs will be nice.

If I were to get a chevy truck, and remove the bed and put a small roll cage in there (right behind the driver), would that be allowed in the 8 cylinder stock class?

I have a small block, but run cut 44's,it would be nice to not have to run in the unlimited class, but if you did it by tire size it probably wouldn't change classes for me anyway....That said, i will most likely still make the 500+ mile round trip to play again anyway

You would be in the unlikmited class at this time. The 8 cylinder is a stock class and the 39" tires also put you in the unlimited class.

Due to insurance concerns you must be 18 years old to drive
