No worries, funny thing is I actually forgot where I ended up buying mine when I posted. I found a place even cheaper than metalsupermakerts for small amoutns of tube. Its an online place, I got the same amount of tube and plate steel shipped to my house for like 10 bucks cheaper then metal supermarkets. Its called onlinemetals.com, check it out. That place is sweet. Oh and if you sign up for an account, you get 10% off your first purchase

I use EMJ in Hayward. They have a huge selection in stock and can get stuff pretty quick. I always try to to large buys.

looks like this hasn't been updated in a while... my quote from tube service from last week:

1.75 dom .125 wall - 3.99 ft up to 199 ft

price drop to 3.41 ft for 200+ ft purchased.

1.5 dom .125 wall - 3.44 ft up to 199 ft

price drop to 2.81 ft for 200+ ft

Not too bad. I think I payed about the same 2 years ago...

If you end up getting some 1.5, I am good for a two sticks (might even help you on the price to get to the over 200 mark?). Another note that you might consider is to get your 1.75 in 1.20 wall so in the event that you want to change something, you can put in a 1.5 piece as a slug much easier. (I just realized your handle is slug)

Anyone else in the Bay Area want in on a bulk order to get the prices down. Tube will be shipped to San Jose and can be picked up there or in San Leandro. (It is going to slugs place and then I am taking a portion up to San Leandro)

teamtube prices go down as the order gets bigger. 2 sticks is 3.79 a ft. but 4 sticks is only 3.15

If you guys in the east bay are looking for a random stick on the weekend or something, let me know. I alway have 1.75 .120 wall sitting in my shop in San Leandro.

Highly recommend Marmon Keystone...a group of buddies and I went in on a large order and we got the price down to $2.17/ ft + tax for 1.75 x 1.20 DOM. We ordered about 800 ft.
