Any automotive painters in the Sac area looking for a side job?

Any automotive painters in the Sac area looking for a side job? I’ve got a 88 4runner that I want painted white. I already have the paint and clear coat. 1.5 gallons of PPG omni series 2 stage urethane and the same amount and type of clear. I will supply other supplies as needed.

This is going to be a street driven trail rig so I’m not looking for perfection just something respectable. I was going to try my hand at painting this, but realized I might be able hire someone else to do it cheaper than having to buy the spray gun, compressor (mines not up to the task), water separator and other related stuff. Plus the results will probably better. Also my garage isn’t very well suited for a vehicle painting project.

The fenders, hood, and doors will be off the vehicle for ease of painting them. Also the interior and fiberglass top will be out of the way too.

Wow! I thought with this economy and lack of jobs I would'nt have a problem finding someone. Oh well, looks like I'll be doing it myself.

Bring it out to the east coast and let Evans High School do it

Seriously wish you weren't across the states or we would be willing to do it for you. Free of charge at that most likely since you have all the materials.

help a school out, they always need a car to paint. High schools and colleges. Even the tech schools, they all do it for free and the kids/students are well supervised

These are great ideas! I'll see if I can get in contact with a teacher.
