That will be sweet. It has been awhile since I have been down there, and to tell you the truth, I have been hearing quite a few horror stories about the cops screwing with people coming out of there. I also heard that the place got a huge fine after the last hangover run. I hope you guys get it up and running, it would be a sweet spot for a weekend of fun and stuff. One thing I might mention would be some dedicated trails that run only one way. And possibly a sign up so that only people who are registered can run. There are far too many people down there on the big events, and it gets real boring sitting in a line of 20 trucks because someone thought that their stock yota could make it through an area.

When will you know anything?

I have been to the hang over run one time. I personally know about 25 people who have been to the hangover run one time. Notice the common words "one time" Nobody wants to go back. Between the sudden surprise when you show up that everybody in the truck needs a ticket, when it was supposed to be one ticket for the truck and then a "donation" per spectator, or the sitting and waiting for 2 hours for the water truck to come and spray my tires so I can leave, to the way overcrowding and basically gridlock of all vehicles on the property. I am sorry, but that event has a horrible reputation. And obviously who ever owns the property is looking to get rich fast, rediculously over priced to come up there and attend the event. I am sorry but somebody needs to pull their head out of their ass and limit the number of vehicles that can attend to about half of what is usally allowed. Who ever puts that crap on has no idea how to organize an event, and it should be shut down for everyones safety. So hopefully the new staff can correct all this. It would be a pretty cool area to come play if it could be organized.

A c'mon man, we had a great time with all those extra trucks and people. And not being safe, thats what the whole thing is about right? Boucin off other people's trucks and sitting around waiting to try one of the 3 mud holes.

I completely agree with ol stu up there. You also need to do something about that damn parking area, I went down into it with a trailer on and lost the whole truck and trailer, the only thing that stopped me was the old ass excavator that was in my way, I jacknifed the shit out of my truck that day, and saw at least 5 other guys do the same thing.

That area needs to be more of a spectator thing, trucks should have to register and be approved before being able to attend an event. Hold more events throughout the year and have less people, rather than all at once.

Stu summed it up pretty well. We went once and wont go back. I wasnt at all happy about parking my tow rig in 5 inches of slop and trying to get in at the end of the day without destroying the inside. Then when we were watching the spectacle of other tow rigs bouncing off each other we got to see the ambulance and fire trucks come up the road thru the chaos. Sorry but none of us in my group will be back.

I too am a one timer to the event. There is potential to the area and event. My rig will not even attempt the main pit. It was fun to watch, till the problems above. I hope the next event has lots of planning and a pre-run. A better exit plan / medic plan is a must. Id be willing to lend a few ideas.

think it would be great if the area was open for more events. Possibly a weekend a month or something, so people could come up and camp, and play around the area. Of course the largest issue in the past events, without a doubt, was the overcrowding. I would say that the attendance numbers need to be cut in half, or even 2/3's. Maybe a little policing of the events could be helpful also. I don't know how many drunk ass rednecks I seen throwing dirtclods and beer cans at people and their trucks. I personally know one person who had their windshield broke by one of these people, and after some heavy persuasion, decided not to pull his 45 out of his truck and blast the idiot. You can see how behavior like that could go bad real quick. It would also be nice to have an organized area, that is safe, to park a tow rig and trailer. I witnessed several trucks jack knifed and bouncing off other rigs parked in what I guess was the parking area for spectators? My last idea would be some sort of organized way of paying for the event. Your website said "one ticket per vehicle, and a donation per passenger." Well when I showed up, surprise....everybody needs a ticket. Luckily whoever was holding the event was willing to accept 20 bucks per passenger. That really pissed alot of people off. So given all that, I do think the area holds alot of potential for an enjoyable day. I look forward to coming back for an enjoyable time.

I have been their the last two years and I agree that it has been disorganized by the people running it and stupid drunk people showing up and messing it up for the rest of us looking to have a fun time.

I do thank the new people for trying to make it better and listening to everyones complaintes. I like the area and love the fact the owners are willing to let us play on their land. I wish that more people would do that, we need more places to play and it would be less crowded.

My fav spot is the little crick with the huge whole and the off cambered hill climb after it. Please don't change it

Rockdawg.....Yes we accept the fact that things were less than optimal. If I understand you correctly, you're talking about the lower area on the track?? Nothing has been changed on the track other than ripped/widened w/dozer. Former tank trap is gone, filled in. We finally hit groundwater & put the old girl out of our misery. New plan is side by side pits; one for biguns' & one for jeeps & toyotas.
