I reiterate !
Bend is host to Oregon State University’s Cascades Campus, Central Oregon Community College and a number of private colleges, trade and technical schools.

Groundhog Quarry is fun for a few hours.
http://www.deschutescounty4wheelers.com/trails.htm Then you've got a ton of dirt roads to blast around on in the same area.

Im from Bend. There are a few spots around here nothing that great though. As mentioned before theres the groundhog rock pit, there is a canyon called Schwartz I believe that I heard is pretty decent rock crawling. Don't know never been. For mud you can go to Redmond to tank tracks, or out towards Alfalfa to Mayfield pond. They pond itself is a wildlife preserve but back behind it theres a few good mud holes. Theres a ton of trails out east of town that would be more baja type of wheeling. Then there's Edison snow park which is a pretty good trail up in the trees thats pretty tight, but its closed till spring for snowmobiling. In the snow you can go up Skyliner, or outta Sunriver. IMO the best four wheeling around here is snow. If anyones out this way hit me up and we will go wheeling.
